my story
I’m Amanda Aldeghi: a counselor, self-care enthusiast, and advocate for individuals of all identities and backgrounds.
Through strengths-based discovery and community action, I aim to empower others to transform their lives, not only on a personal level, but through the attainment of higher quality support services for all.
I believe in the power of play therapy, and infusing kindness, humor, and creativity into all of my interactions.
I hold Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Psychology, with a specialization in Community Psychology. I have designed and supervised in-home programs for children on the Autism spectrum and I have also taught mindfulness skills, English as a Second Language (ESL), and Psychology classes to kids of all ages.
I love to cook, research cultural culinary traditions, write in my journal, practice yoga and meditation, sing, daydream, create activities that are both therapeutic and fun, and spend quality time with loved ones.
